Cybex Gold Cot S Carrycot – A Cosy Nest for Baby's First Months
Throughout baby's first months, the Cybex Gold Cot S Carrycot is the perfect accompaniment to your Cybex Gold stroller or buggy. This spacious and comfortable carrycot transforms compatible Cybex pushchairs into a complete pram solution from day one, providing your newborn with a cosy, sheltered spot to rest comfortably during walks and everyday adventures. With its soft foam mattress, generous interior, and integrated carrying handle, the Cot S makes those precious early months easier and more comfortable for both parent and baby.
Perfect From Birth to Approximately 6 Months
The Cot S is specifically designed for your baby's earliest journeys, suitable from birth until they reach approximately 6 months or 9kg. During these crucial first months, babies need proper support and a comfortable resting environment, and the Cot S delivers exactly that with its ergonomic design and thoughtful features.
This dedicated newborn solution allows you to use your Cybex pushchair as a traditional pram during those early weeks when a lie-flat position is essential, then seamlessly transition to the seat unit once your baby is ready to sit up and engage more with the world around them.
Soft Foam Mattress for Maximum Comfort
Your little one will lie in supported comfort on the Cot S's soft and cosy foam mattress. The cushioned surface provides gentle support for your newborn's developing body, creating a comfortable resting place whether you're taking a leisurely stroll through the park or running everyday errands.
The generous mattress dimensions (77cm x 32cm) give your baby plenty of room to stretch out naturally, whilst the supportive foam construction ensures proper positioning for healthy development during those crucial early months.
Warm & Comfortable Interior Lining
The Cot S features interior fabric lining that's as warm and comfortable as cotton, creating a snug and sheltered environment that feels secure and cosy for your newborn. The quality fabrics help regulate temperature, keeping your baby comfortable in various weather conditions whilst the spacious interior ensures they never feel cramped or restricted.
XXL Sun Canopy With UPF50+ Protection
The substantial sun canopy provides comprehensive shelter, shade, and UPF50+ protection from the sun's harmful rays. The extendable canopy adjusts to provide coverage from multiple angles, ensuring your baby stays protected whether you're facing into the sun or walking in changing light conditions.
A mesh window insert within the canopy allows for improved airflow and ventilation, creating a healthy resting environment that prevents overheating whilst maintaining protection from the elements. The ventilation window is particularly valuable during warmer months or in well-heated indoor spaces.
Integrated Carry Handle for Easy Transport
A carry handle is cleverly built into the sun canopy, making the Cot S easy to lift and carry when not attached to the pushchair frame. This thoughtful feature proves invaluable when you need to move the carrycot from your pushchair to your home, car, or another location—you can transport your sleeping baby without disturbing them.
The integrated design means there's no separate, bulky handle to manage, maintaining the Cot S's sleek profile whilst providing genuine practical convenience.
Easy Click-On Attachment System
The Cot S has been engineered to attach quickly and securely to compatible Cybex pushchair frames. Simply click the carrycot into place and you're ready to go—no complicated mechanisms or tools required. When you're ready to remove the carrycot, the process is equally straightforward, allowing you to transition seamlessly between different configurations throughout your day.
Compatible With Selected Cybex Gold Pushchairs
The Cot S is compatible with selected Cybex Gold pushchairs, including:
- Cybex Eezy S Twist+ 2 – Pairs perfectly with the rotating seat pushchair for a complete travel system
- Cybex Avi Spin – Transforms the all-terrain running pushchair into a newborn-ready pram
Please note that specific adapters may be required depending on your pushchair model. Check compatibility with your particular Cybex pushchair to ensure a proper fit.
Spacious Yet Manageable Dimensions
The Cot S strikes an excellent balance between providing generous space for your baby and remaining manageable for parents:
Overall Dimensions: 82cm (L) x 39.5cm (W) x 15.5cm (H with canopy folded)
Mattress Dimensions: 77cm (L) x 32cm (W) x 21cm (H)
Weight: 4.5kg
At just 4.5kg, the Cot S is light enough to carry comfortably whilst feeling substantial and secure. The compact folded height makes storage more convenient when the carrycot isn't in use, whilst the generous interior dimensions ensure your baby has ample space to rest comfortably.
Upgrade to Cot S Lux for Enhanced Features
For parents seeking additional premium features, the Cybex Gold Cot S Lux Carrycot offers enhanced specifications including memory buttons for even easier attachment, an internal storage pocket, and compatibility with a wider range of Cybex pushchairs including the Balios S Lux and Talos S Lux. The Lux version maintains the same excellent comfort and protection whilst adding thoughtful convenience features for busy parents.
Easy Care & Maintenance
The Cot S is designed with practical maintenance in mind. Fabric covers are machine washable at 30°C, making it easy to keep everything fresh and hygienic throughout those messy early months. The removable components allow you to clean specific areas as needed without dismantling the entire carrycot.
Essential Newborn Accessory
The Cot S represents an essential investment for parents who want to use their Cybex Gold pushchair from day one. Rather than waiting until your baby can sit independently, the carrycot allows you to start building those walking routines, getting fresh air, and exploring your neighbourhood from birth.
The lie-flat position is not only more comfortable for newborns but also supports healthy breathing and spinal development during those crucial early weeks. Having a dedicated carrycot means you can take proper walks rather than limiting yourself to brief outings with a car seat attached to the pushchair frame.
Complete Your Cybex Travel System
The Cot S is part of the comprehensive Cybex ecosystem that adapts to your family's changing needs:
Birth to 6 Months – Use the Cot S carrycot for comfortable, supported newborn travel
6 Months to 4 Years – Transition to the pushchair seat unit as your baby develops
Car to Pushchair – Add Cybex infant car seats for seamless transitions
