The Fox Speedframe Pro Helmet represents the pinnacle of open-face mountain bike helmet design, earning Virginia Tech's coveted 5-star rating through extensive safety testing. Built with input from pro mountain bike athletes, this helmet features the advanced MIPS Air Node protection system that reduces rotational motion and redirects forces away from your brain during impacts. The dual-density Varizorb EPS spreads impact forces across a wider area for enhanced protection, while optimized venting with channeled, in-molded EPS provides efficient cooling during intense rides.
What sets the Speedframe Pro apart is its combination of safety innovation and rider-focused features. The BOA Fit System delivers micro-adjustability for a perfect fit every ride, while the FIDLOCK SNAP buckle provides quick, secure entry and exit even with gloves on. The removable, washable Ionic+ liner is antimicrobial and manages odor while wicking moisture away. Practical details include a one-hand adjustable visor compatible with sunglasses or goggles, plus a dedicated sunglass storage solution for when conditions change on the trail.
