Growing Tips

• Germination: Seeds sprout in 5-14 days at soil temperatures of 70-75 degrees F.
• Time to bloom: Expect flowers 8-10 weeks after sowing.
• Sowing: Direct sow after last frost, or start indoors 4-6 weeks early for an earlier bloom. Press seeds lightly into the soil surface - they need some light to germinate.
• Sun and soil: Full sun (6 or more hours daily) and well-drained soil. Good air circulation helps reduce disease pressure.
• Watering: Water moderately at the base of the plant. Allow soil to dry slightly between waterings once plants are established.
• Deadheading: Remove spent blooms regularly to encourage continued flowering through the season.
