When looking for a 'brown sugar', look no further than Big Tree Farms Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) Brown Coconut Sugar.
Like brown cane sugar, ROC Brown Coconut Sugar has deep notes of caramel and toffee, with a similar moisture level that makes it a perfect swap in recipes calling for brown sugar.
ROC Brown Coconut Sugar is hand-granulated - rather than vacuum evaporated like our ROC Golden Coconut Sugar - by our near 17,000 farmer partners in Indonesia.
After harvesting coconut flower nectar from the tops of coconut palms, the nectar is boiled down, cooled and worked by hand from a soft caramel into fine, unrefined crystal granules that naturally retain minerals from the earth like potassium, iron and calcium.
Always regenerative and low-glycemic, ROC Brown Coconut Sugar is better for the earth and better for you.
