FAQs

Q: How many seeds come in the DIY Grow Kit for Aster Mix? Are they guaranteed to germinate?
A: Each kit contains 7 to 10 premium Aster Mix seeds. Ecofynd selects seeds with naturally high germination rates (typically above 80% under optimal conditions). We recommend following the included instructions for moisture, warmth, and sunlight exposure to maximise success.

Q: What is included inside the DIY Grow Kit? Do I need to buy anything else?
A: The kit is complete. You receive one white ceramic pot (7.5 cm height x 10 cm diameter), one coir disc (expands with water), 100 grams of vermicompost, one plant label, and the Aster Mix seed packet. You only need to add water and sunlight. No separate soil or fertiliser is required.

Q: How do I use the coir disc and vermicompost together?
A: Place the coir disc in a bowl, add warm water, and watch it expand into soft, fibrous soil within 10 minutes. Drain excess water, then mix in the 100g vermicompost thoroughly. Fill your ceramic pot with this mixture, plant your Aster Mix seeds at the depth shown on the seed packet, and water gently. The coir retains moisture while vermicompost provides gentle, organic nutrients.

Q: Is this DIY Grow Kit suitable for kids or as a return gift for birthday parties?
A: Absolutely. The kit is child-safe, with no sharp tools or toxic chemicals. It makes an excellent return gift for eco-conscious birthday parties, school projects, or summer camp activities. The ceramic pot is sturdy, and the step-by-step instructions are designed for ages 6 and up with adult supervision for watering.

Q: Can I grow Aster Mix indoors on a balcony or windowsill? How much sunlight is needed?
A: Most Aster Mix plants thrive in bright, indirect sunlight or 4–6 hours of direct sun daily. For aster morning sun works beautifully. The kit is suitable for both indoor windowsills and outdoor balconies. Refer to the seed-specific guide inside the kit for best placement.

Q: Is the white ceramic pot reusable after my plant outgrows it?
A: Yes. The 7.5x10 cm ceramic pot is designed for the seedling and early growth stage (first 4–6 weeks). Once your Aster Mix plant needs a larger home, you can transplant it into a bigger pot and reuse this ceramic pot for another seed, a succulent, or as a decorative holder. Unlike plastic nursery pots, this ceramic pot will not degrade or leach chemicals.

Q: What makes Ecofynd’s vermicompost and coir disc more sustainable than regular potting mix?
A: Regular potting mix often contains peat moss (harvested from endangered bogs) or synthetic fertilisers. Our coir disc is made from coconut husk, a renewable agricultural byproduct. Our vermicompost is organic worm castings, zero chemical runoff. Both are lightweight, odourless, and fully biodegradable. The ceramic pot is 100% natural clay, fired without toxic glazes.

Q: Can I use this DIY kit for gifting on housewarming, Diwali, or Raksha Bandhan?
A: Yes. The DIY Grow Kit comes in a compact, gift-ready box. Pair it with a handwritten note, and you have a meaningful, zero-plastic gift that keeps growing. It is especially loved for housewarming parties (a living plant for the new home), for children as a hobby starter, and for plant-loving friends who enjoy the joy of growing from seed.

My four approve
Color: 3PC-Bacon-Brown, Pattern Name: Tough Dog Toys
My dogs, which I have 4, 2 labradors, one Jack Russell and one medium smallish mixed breed dog, all really love the bones. Three of them seem to be vigorous chewers the mixed breed girl being the toughest one on bones. These bones are holding up really well and the dogs really seem to like them. The dogs have not been able to get any big chunks off of the bones so I feel safe letting them have them even when I’m not watching. I would recommend these to Pet owners.

I have a medium sized dog and these were to big for him. A bigger dog would love them. Great for chewers.

Best chew toy for a small dog
My Pomchi puppy was chewing on anything and everything, including me. He had a million other toys that he just didn’t care about. This is small and perfect for his tiny, ferocious mouth. It seems very durable so far and believe me, he doesn’t go easy on this thing. It’s hard enough that I can tell it feels good on his tiny, razor sharp teeth. The bone keeps him busy all throughout the day, and it doesn’t squeak, which is good because squeaky toys freak him out. I highly recommend this if you have a tiny, teething monster.

My puppies favorite bone to chew
I’ve bought at least a half a dozen of puppy bones for my doggie to try, the majority being from Nylabone, and the others from hartz. Her first bone was a pink puppy Nylabone xsmall sise. She definitely must have liked that one but unfortunately I felt like I had to take it away from her too soon, she was teething more then, but even so, thought it was unsafe when I saw little pieces come off and her trying to chew them. I really like these the best, though I don’t think I’ll be ordering any more at least not until she finishes her new ones. I don’t know what flavor she likes more, it might even be a color thing, but I think she prefers the orange ones which are peanut butter flavored. These are really ideal for toy breeds. My pup is still growing, she’s almost 7 months now, but unsure when she will stop growing, for reference she is a chocolate sable yorkiepoo, not sure of how much she weighs right now, but would estimate she weighs around 5.5-6 pounds. These are perfect for her, and I feel like they out live the other ones I’ve gotten, or she just has more interest in them. I bought a second package on subscribe and save (or possibly on my first and forgot I had a new order and didn’t return), but didn’t open the new package until recently as I felt the first pack were starting to look a bit knawed off, but in the middle there was still plenty of chew left. Oddly, she has prefered the old orange one vs the brand new orange one despite them being the exact same toy and flavor. I think she just hasn’t broken it in yet and I overloaded her with too many toys! I also got them for a great price, for some reason I noticed that the price increased nearly double of what I paid, and now they habe decreased a bit but still are about $2 more than what I paid. She loves all toys, and has many plush kinds. She still teeths, so when she is extra hyper and such, I feel like the bone helps occupy her for a moment. All in all I’d reccomend these out of any puppy bones to chew for toy breeds!
