Adapts to your child from infancy to toddlerhood

Keep your baby within kissing distance from the day he is born until he is ready to wander on his own, from as little as 7 lbs (no need for an infant insert!) all the way up to 45 lbs. With the use of clip adjustments, you can adjust your carrier as your child grows, ensuring that the ideal knee-to-knee support is constant throughout your babywearing journey.

Three carrying positions: front, back, and hip

Carry your child effortlessly and comfortably for long periods of time facing you on your front, facing you on your back, and on your hip. Back wearing is best for babies with full head control (6+ months).

Ergonomic for you and your baby

Ergobaby is named and known for its completely ergonomic and safe support of both babies and babywearing adults alike. Your child’s hips are safe within the ideal m-shaped position that acts more like a hammock than a harness, spreading the weight across her legs instead of dangling from one pressure-point. The cushioned and adjustable shoulder straps of the carrier, along with the option of criss-cross attachment, allows you to evenly distribute your baby’s weight across your shoulders. A padded waist offers lumbar support while carrying your child and adjusts to petite and full frames.

Easy and fast to use

Within a few buckles, your child will be safely and comfortably strapped to your torso, leaving your hands free and ready to go!

Head and neck support for your baby

Your infant’s head and neck will be fully and softly supported with the ADAPT’s foldable head and neck support feature.

Tuck-away hood for comfort and privacy

The tuck-away hood comes in handy for supporting your child’s head as she sleeps or offering privacy for breastfeeding. (Yes, you can breastfeed hands-free in this carrier!)

Made with 100% premium cotton

Super-soft 100% premium cotton wraps you and your baby in soft, breathable material.

Easy to clean

Simply pop your Ergobaby ADAPT into the washer if it gets soiled!

Deeply insightful, thought provoking & right on
Format: Hardcover
In traveling to Thailand years ago I was pleased to learn that the country forbids westerners from taking statues of the Buddha home. The country feared it could end up in an over priced, westernized yoga studio or become a lawn ornament. And I was shocked when a friend told me that “namaste” was a term reserved for one’s elders. You can say it to your grandma but it’s inappropriate to say in yoga class. Liz Bucar’s book sheds light and brings awareness at such a ripe time in our global cultural awaking. As a long time yoga practitioner I wish this book existed years ago. I look forward to sharing it with my community.

So helpful
Format: Hardcover
This is a book that will help you think through the misappropriating of religion in most every aspect of life. I have learned so much from this work and believe that you will as well. Written in an engaging, easy to read style, this work is accessible by anyone who is looking to be more intentional in their understanding of others, their beliefs, culture and religion. This kind of information make navigating the world a safer journey for all of us.

Thoughtful and honest
Format: Kindle
I am so glad I read this! I've heard the term "cultural appropriation" many more times than I can count, but I hadn't thought about it in the context of religion. Bucar's writing is so engaging, and the book is a great blend of narrative non-fiction and theory. I couldn't put it down! Highly recommend.

An important and interesting read; well written and researched
Format: Hardcover
The author uses personal experiences to illustrate and enliven the text. Ms. Bucar challenges us to look at our own reactions, thoughts and practices. I would recommend this book for discussion at my book club.

Not what I was hoping for
Format: Paperback
I've been interested in the topic of religious appropriation ever since I saw my non-Tibetan neighbor hang Tibetan prayer flags on his front porch. And when I lived in Japan, I saw that non-Christian Japanese appropriated all of the trappings of Western Christian wedding ceremonies. So I had high hopes for this book. But it reads like a very looooong, and also very academic sermon on the evils of capitalism, western hegemony, and other such terms. There is not an ounce of humor in any of this book.
