The Monstera Deliciosa needs no introduction — it is the iconic split-leaf houseplant that has defined indoor jungle style for a generation. This specimen arrives at an impressive 1.2–1.4 m on a moss stick, with large, deeply fenestrated leaves that create an unmistakable statement in any room. If you want one plant to transform a space, this is it.
Key Features
- Iconic split leaves — Mature, deeply fenestrated leaves with dramatic splits and perforations that are instantly recognisable
- Statement floor plant — At 1.2–1.4 m on a moss stick, it delivers immediate visual impact without years of growing
- Moss pole support — Arrives trained on a moss stick, encouraging upward growth and larger, more fenestrated leaves
- Architectural presence — Works as a standalone focal point in living rooms, lobbies, and open-plan spaces
- Proven resilience — Despite its exotic appearance, the Monstera is famously tough and forgiving of imperfect care
Why It Works in Dubai
Monstera Deliciosa thrives in the warm, stable indoor climate of UAE homes and offices. It handles air conditioning well and grows happily in bright, indirect light — the kind that most Dubai living rooms receive naturally. Its thick, waxy leaves tolerate lower humidity better than many tropicals, and it only needs watering once the top few centimetres of soil dry out.
Care Snapshot
| Light | Bright indirect light; tolerates medium light but grows slower |
| Water | Water when the top 3–5 cm of soil is dry; roughly weekly in summer |
| Humidity | Moderate; tolerates normal indoor levels, appreciates occasional misting |
| Temperature | 18–30 °C; keep above 15 °C |
| Skill Level | Beginner |
What You'll Receive
