Anth. polyschistum is a remarkable climbing species that creates an impressive display with its unique growth pattern. This distinctive aroid is perfect for collectors seeking an unusual and eye-catching addition to their tropical plant collection.
- Light: Provide bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight which can damage the delicate foliage. East or north-facing windows are ideal, or filtered light through sheer curtains.
- Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18-26°C (65-80°F). Protect from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations that can stress the plant.
- Humidity: Requires high humidity levels of 60-80%. The climbing nature benefits from consistent moisture in the air. Use a humidifier or group with other tropical plants.
- Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Maintain consistent moisture without waterlogging. Ensure excellent drainage to prevent root rot.
Additional Notes:
Foliage Characteristics: Features deeply divided palmate leaves that radiate from central petioles in a distinctive finger-like pattern. The narrow, elongated leaflets create an elegant, architectural appearance with bright green coloration and prominent venation throughout each segment.
