A compact, bushy shrub adorned with deep green, glossy leaves that are beautifully edged with a creamy white margin. This lovely variegation provides a gentle contrast and a touch of brightness throughout the growing season. Typically reaching a manageable height and spread of 2 to 4 feet, it is perfect for adding a refined look to borders, foundation plantings, or even in containers.
Now, when it comes to sunshine, the Ivory Jade Euonymus is quite adaptable, thriving in full sun to partial shade. While it shows its best and brightest white margins in full sun, it will still perform well and maintain its variegation in areas with some shade, especially during our hot Arizona afternoons. And for those of you who have deer visiting your yard, you will be pleased to know that euonymus are generally not a preferred food source for them.
To keep your Ivory Jade Euonymus looking its best and thriving, I recommend planting it with Watters Premium Mulch. This will help maintain consistent soil moisture, suppress weeds, and enrich the soil as it breaks down. In the spring, give it a boost with Watters 7-4-4 All-Purpose Plant Food to encourage strong, healthy growth and that beautiful ivory and green foliage.
The Ivory Jade Euonymus is a reliable and attractive shrub that offers year-round visual appeal with its softly variegated leaves. Plant one in your garden, and enjoy its elegant charm! Happy planting!
