The AcuRite Solar Power Pack replaces the need for AA batteries in the Acurite Optimus®, AcuRite Atlas® or AcuRite Iris® weather sensors (sold separately). Enjoy the convenience and safety of avoiding regular battery replacements in hard-to-reach places where your AcuRite outdoor weather sensor operates. This easy-to-install solar panel mounts to a 3/4-inch pole or flat surface like a deck post, fence, or shed wall. All mounting hardware is included, and a QR code on the manual will take you to an instructional installation video for guidance. The solar panel does not need to be in direct sunlight all day to charge! Any available direct or ambient sunlight taken in by the solar panel charges the internal lithium-ion battery (#18650) and sends that power through a 30-foot cord to the battery compartment on your AcuRite Optimus, AcuRite Iris or AcuRite Atlas sensors.
By using this solar power pack, you’ll be helping the environment by refraining from disposable batteries and saving money by skipping the batteries on your grocery list! Supplement your AcuRite weather station with this solar power pack, or gift this rechargeable solar-powered battery for Father’s Day, Christmas, or birthdays to your friends and family members who own AcuRite sensors. Avoid changing low or dead batteries and pick up this useful solar power pack for your AcuRite weather station!
Includes: Solar Power Pack, mounting hardware, instruction manual.
