APT 3 by 2HR Aquarist is a comprehensive, all-in-one aquarium plant fertilizer designed for established planted tanks with high nutrient needs. Its complete formula is packed with macro nutrients (NPK), iron, magnesium, and trace elements to fuel growth and boost color for even the hobby’s most demanding plants. With APT 3, grow the temperamental Rotalas, Ludwigias, and other rare plants often considered advanced in the aquascaping community.
If you have a heavily planted tank, Dutch-style aquascape, or a setup with hungry plants, APT 3 is a complete solution for achieving rich colors and strong growth without significantly increasing maintenance. Each bottle includes a calibrated pump and simple dosing, making it easy to stay on top of your aquarium’s nutrition. One bottle is estimated to last approximately 3 months based on a standard 30-gallon planted tank.
Choosing the Right APT Fertilizer
APT 3 is designed for established aquariums with dense plant growth, nutrient-demanding species, or higher lighting and CO2 injection. For newly planted tanks or setups with lighter plant mass, APT 1 offers a gentler formula for steady plant growth.
APT 3 Complete Highlights
- Ideal for heavily planted setups
- Complete formula with macro (NPK), iron, magnesium, and trace elements
- Easy daily dosing with included calibrated pump
- Looking for a gentler approach? Start with APT 1!
Size: 300ml / 10.14FL Oz.
Dosing Instructions: Add 3 pumps per 26 gallons of water daily.
TIP! If you are starting off with a fresh aquascape or have a densely planted setup, start with APT 1 during the first 1-3 months. Monitor growth over time and when plants are mature and nutrient requirements increase, transition to APT 3 to support continued growth!
