Our Classic Cornflowers 100% Wildflower Seed Mix is for the wildflower traditionalists. We’ve jam-packed it with national favourites. All easy to recognise and even easier to grow!

How to Plant

Cheap and Easy Method:

For a straightforward and economical approach, you can simply scatter the seeds directly onto bare soil. This method requires minimal preparation but comes with a lower chance of success as it relies heavily on natural conditions. Start by clearing the planting area of any debris and lightly raking the soil to create a loose surface. Evenly broadcast the seeds across the soil, then gently rake again to ensure good seed-to-soil contact.

More Involved Method:

For a higher likelihood of success, especially in areas with aggressive weeds, use a terram membrane. This process involves laying a terram membrane over the planting area to suppress weed growth. Spread a layer of calcareous soil, which is rich in calcium and ideal for many wildflowers, over the membrane. Evenly sow the seeds on the soil surface and lightly press them in to ensure good contact. This method is more costly and labour-intensive but significantly increases the chances of a vibrant and successful meadow.

When to Plant

The ideal time to plant your Classic Cornflower mix is in the spring (March to May) or autumn (September to October). These seasons provide the optimal temperatures and moisture conditions necessary for seed germination and establishment.

Where to Plant

Select an open, sunny location with well-drained soil for planting. Wildflowers in this mix thrive in areas with full sun and minimal shade. Avoid spots that are prone to waterlogging, as this can hinder seed germination and plant growth.

Watering Schedule

During the initial establishment phase, ensure the soil remains consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water gently to avoid washing away the seeds. Once the seedlings are established, they will require minimal watering, relying primarily on natural rainfall. However, during prolonged dry periods, occasional watering may be necessary to maintain healthy growth.

Blooming Period

The wildflowers in your Classic Cornflower mix will bloom from late spring through summer, typically from May to August. This period may vary slightly depending on local climate conditions and the specific flowers in the mix.

Expected Plant Height

The wildflowers in this mix will vary in height, generally ranging from 20 cm to 80 cm. This variety adds visual interest and supports a range of pollinators and wildlife.

Elevates your wrist
Color: Right - Black, Size: Large, Color: Right - Black, Size: Large
This is a great tool. No wrist pain day 1. It elevates your wrist to level with the mouse so there’s no backward strain. Takes a little getting use to but well worth no pain.

It's hard af.
Color: Right - Grey, Size: Small, Color: Right - Grey, Size: Small
Edit: just realized Amazon sent me a left handed one! I got this one and the g2 or whatever with the strap. The g2 is great. This one is hard though. The edges of the rest thingy. And the edges in the middle where it splits are annoying. Idk if it's a difference in the rubber pads or what. Even if this works for wrist pain, it's not worth it for the palm discomfort.

Ergonomic and effective, but requires adjustment.
Color: Right - White, Size: Large
Bought this for improving wrist posture during long hours at the desk. What I like • The ergonomic design helps reduce wrist strain, especially during extended typing sessions. • The right-handed orientation is comfortable and natural to use. • High-quality build, feels sturdy and durable. What could be better • It takes some time to adjust to the unique design, especially if you’re used to traditional mice. • The size may not be suitable for people with smaller hands. • It could be a bit pricey compared to other ergonomic mice on the market. Bottom line: A great investment for improving wrist posture and reducing strain, but it might not be for everyone due to the learning curve and price. Perfect for users looking to enhance ergonomics, but consider alternatives if you have smaller hands or need a more budget-friendly option.

It’s painful. Not worth it.
Color: Right - Grey, Size: Small, Color: Right - Grey, Size: Small
I hate it. Period. Very strong feelings about it right out of the box. Gave it a few days, and not only do I still hate it but it’s very painful to use. The rubber material is hard and has pressure points that make you come away feeling like you’ve rested your wrist on the edge of a table for too long. I come away more sore using this than not. They only have small and large sizes, I think the small is too small for me? (I’m not sure. I can tell it doesn’t fit well, but I can’t tell if it’s because it’s too small or the shape isn’t right for my wrist). In any event, I am sure the large would be too large and even if they had a medium size I still wouldn’t repurchase this. Maybe if you’ve got some meat on your bones it would be more comfortable but as you can see, I am a very thin person and this is pressing on all the wrong places. I also feel like the center valley part contributes to carpal tunnel pain because the very firm edges of each side rested right in that area, not offering any support to the valley of the wrist, and therefore creating pressure to that nerve center and the ligaments. I don’t know why they chose this material, it’s too firm. Also, I think a better design would be a little tab from the center of it sticking out and then attaching to the bottom of the mouse so that both mouse and the wrist “support” worked as one unit when moving the mouse around. I often found that I didn’t drag the wrist piece with my mouse well and that it caused even more issues. If it were comfortable I would have made a little tab myself and connected the mouse and the wrist rest together, but as it’s extremely not even remotely comfortable I’m not bothering and I’ve already started the return process.
