Philodendron bipinnatifidum
Philodendron Choco Empress is not here to blend in. A rare cultivar of Philodendron bipinnatifidum, this large leaf houseplant produces deeply lobed foliage in rich, chocolate toned green that darkens beautifully as it matures.
Bold, tropical and impossible to ignore, this rare philodendron brings serious rainforest energy into UK homes. Given bright, indirect light and steady care, it develops thick stems and broad leaves that create real presence without being difficult to manage.
Over time, Choco Empress grows into an impressive statement floor plant, perfect for living rooms, offices or anywhere that needs height and depth. It looks dramatic, but it’s surprisingly manageable.
If you love big foliage and want a tropical indoor plant that feels grown up and powerful, this is your queen.
