Satiny new leaves emerge a startling bright orange on dark red petioles, transition to a coppery green or chartreuse, and finally to bright green. Fast-growing and vigorous, each leaf opens in a sequential spiral, assuring a colorful, changing display. A self-heading variety of philodendron which does not climb or vine; all stems emerge from the base, keeping the foliage upright and eventually creating a bushy plant. Overall size may increase in brighter light. Philodendron spp.
