The Marble Queen Pothos is a very hardy and popular houseplant with beautiful green and cream splashed foliage. These plants are native to countries throughout Southeast Asia and Australia. Despite how much they enjoy the tropical conditions, Pothos will work incredibly well in your home and are arguably some of the easiest houseplants to grow. These trailing beauties have heart-shaped leaves with splashes of white, yellow or pale green.

The Marble Queen is incredibly versatile like its Pothos counterparts – you can opt for a smaller table top plant, put it in a hanging basket, or alternatively give it a support pole and let it climb to its heart’s content.

How to root your Marble Queen Pothos cutting

Pothos is one of the easiest indoor plants to propagate and you can choose to root your cutting directly in soil, water or in your choice of propagation substrate such as sphagnum moss, fern fibre, leca etc.

Water propagation is the fastest and easiest way to root your Marble Queen Pothos cutting. Fill your glass or jar with filtered water or allow the tap water to sit out in the open for a while to let the chlorine dissipate. Submerge the lower 1-2 nodes of your pothos cutting in the water with the leaves up above. Make sure that no leaves are touching the water as this could lead to rot.

Then, place in a warm spot that receives plenty of bright, indirect light (no direct sun though) and change the water regularly until the roots are at least an inch long and your cutting is ready to be planted in soil.

Plant care

Water / Humidity: This plant is very drought tolerant, so water sparingly, especially in the winter. Let the first 4-6 cm of soil dry fully between waterings. Tolerant with normal room humidity conditions.

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal, but also tolerant of lower light conditions (will grow slower).

Soil / Nutrients: Well draining soil. You can apply a few drops of general houseplant fertilizer to the soil once a month from spring to summer, reduce nutrients during autumn and winter.

Temperature: The range of 12 - 25°C is ideal.

Perfect for Bread
Size: 2-Quart
I bought this to make the bread in the book "Bittman Bread" by Mark Bittman and Kerri Conan, which I also bought here on Amazon. This Dutch Oven has been working perfectly for the last 6 months of baking. As a bonus, it's much less expensive that the same size Lodge pot. I've got a 5-1/2 quart regular and a 7-1/2 quart enameled both from Lodge and use them all the time for stuff, but I only use this 2 qt for the bread, usually more than once a week. It's great. Look up that "Bittman Bread" book and buy it from Amazon (I don't think you can insert links in the review), then definitely buy this Dutch Oven. I highly recommend both.

Excellent Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
Color: Red, Size: 5Qt
This Dutch oven has quickly become my favorite piece of cookware in the kitchen. The enamel coating makes cleanup surprisingly easy, even after slow-cooked meals. It heats evenly and keeps food warm for a long time after cooking. I’ve used it for soups, roasts, pasta dishes, and homemade bread with amazing results every time. The red color is beautiful and looks great sitting on the stovetop. It feels heavy and durable without being impossible to handle. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality and versatile cooking pot.

Great for baking bread
Color: Red, Size: 5Qt
Great quality for a good price. I use this to bake sourdough loaves and it performs superbly! I love the little handle potholders they are the perfect size and provide good protection from the very hot pot. Beautiful color but practical and useful.

Worth the purchase
Color: Green, Size: 5Qt
This is my new favorite kitchen purchase. Soups, dips, rice... It all cooks so evenly and beautifully. It cleans so easily with a rag (not using anything abrasive). I am putting about a tablespoon of oil in the pot after cleaning and using and rubbing into the pan to get it seasoned. I would absolutely recommend this purchase. It's beautiful and functional

One of my favorite pieces of cookware!
Color: Red, Size: 7Qt
This cast iron pot is one of my favorite kitchen items. It's beautiful, it cooks great, cleans well, is excellent for many different uses, and I get a work out when I use it lol. Seriously I regard the weight as a bonus! Our grandmothers used cast iron, and it lasts forever. I'm so glad that I got it!
