Philodendron Brasil, also known as “Heartleaf Philodendron”, has the ability to increase the levels of oxygen and moisture in the air. It has leaves that are in the shape of a heart with mesmerizing green color. Placing the Heartleaf Philodendron in your living room, bedroom, office or balcony can instantly beautify the landscape of the place.
The Heartleaf Philodendron is a low-maintenance indoor plant that is hassle-free to look after. With a few hours of natural sunlight, this plant can grow well. Ideally, it should be watered when the topsoil starts to dry out. Repotting should be carried out every 2-3 years in the spring to promote healthy growth.
Even with the utmost care, Philodendron Brasil could encounter some problems. The leaves may turn yellow due to excess exposure to the sun. Also, overwatering can cause rotting of the roots. It is crucial to remember that this plant is toxic to pets.
