Plant Information
| Chlorophytum amaniense (Mandarin Plant / Fire Flash Spider Plant) |
Fresh Seeds of Chlorophytum amaniense (Mandarin Fire-flash Spider Plant) with full instructions for germination.
A beautiful little species native to the rain forests of East Africa, growing to a height of 1 ft within a pot, but within it's native habitat (or outdoors in tropical regions of the world) it will reach up to 2 ft.
Makes an eye-catching houseplant, doing well in pots. Shiny, dark-green leaves contrast well with the bright orange petioles and leaf midribs.
Prefers a location in a cooler room receiving bright natural light but does not tolerate strong, direct sunlight very well (leaf scorch).
Although commonly grown as a house plant outside of the tropics, it is listed as being able to tolerate temperatures as low as -6°C.
Please note: full germination instructions are printed on each pack.
