The Philodendron Birkin is a highly sought-after house plant. The striking foliage boasts bright yellow and white striped variegation that bears a striking contrast to the dark green foliage. The tropical plant's unique coloration will complement any room and bring a fun new interest piece to a space.
An ideal Philodendron Birkin care regimen would include a medium to bright indirect light and high moisture levels. Additionally, we recommend growing your plant in a a coconut-coir-based soil. A soil that retains moisture can help decrease overall watering needs while keeping the soil moist and increasing humidity levels. Allowing your plant's soil dry out before watering will help to avoid chances of root rot.
These eye-catching houseplants are slow growing, however at maturity the Birkin can reach heights of up to three feet tall indoors. For optimal growth, we recommend applying a well-balanced fertilizer blend in the growing months of spring and summer. For a more variegated foliage, it is also encouraged that you place your plant in a sunnier location. Birkin make great window-sill plants in any space.
Don't be intimidated by the Philodendron Birkin; with proper care, this gorgeous specimen will leave every houseguest green with envy.
