Sansevieria ehrenbergii ‘Samurai’ is a compact cultivar of Sansevieria ehrenbergii, now classified within the Dracaena genus. It is characterised by thick, triangular leaves arranged in a tight, stacked fan formation. The leaves are grey-green with darker horizontal banding and edged with a thin reddish-brown margin. New growth emerges from the centre of the rosette, forming short, firm blades that gradually widen and harden as they mature.
This cultivar maintains a low, architectural shape rather than producing tall upright spears. It grows from underground rhizomes and slowly forms offsets, creating a dense clump over time.
Growth pattern: Upright
Water: Water sparingly
Light: While ideally suited for bright indirect light, the Sansevieria family gracefully adapts to shady corners and low-light rooms, making it a fantastic option for various lighting conditions.
Humidity: Will be content in any type of humidity level.
Please note: The odd leaf split or scarring is expected on Sansevieria
