The China Doll Plant, also known as Serpent Tree or Emerald Tree, is a popular houseplant cherished for its delicate, glossy foliage and graceful appearance. It features clusters of dark green, finely serrated leaves that resemble those of a fern, making it a stunning addition to any indoor space.
Light Needs: China Doll Plants thrive in bright, indirect light. They prefer a spot near a window with filtered sunlight, though they can tolerate some direct morning sun. Avoid placing them in full afternoon sun, as this can scorch their leaves.
Water Needs: Keep the soil of your China Doll Plant consistently moist during the growing season (spring and summer). Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry, allowing excess water to drain away. Reduce watering in the winter, allowing the top few inches of soil to dry out between waterings.
Humidity Needs: China Doll Plants prefer moderate humidity levels. They benefit from occasional misting, especially during dry indoor conditions. Grouping plants together can also help increase humidity around them.
