Escort XP Herbicide is a highly concentrated, low-use-rate sulfonylurea herbicide designed for selective control of broadleaf weeds, vines, and woody brush in pasture, rangeland, forestry, and non-crop areas. Powered by metsulfuron-methyl (60%), Escort XP delivers professional-grade performance using only ounces per acre—reducing chemical load while maintaining exceptional control. Its systemic activity targets plant growth at the cellular level, stopping development in both shoots and roots. Escort XP is especially valued for its flexibility, tank-mix compatibility, and excellent grass selectivity, making it a go-to solution for vegetation management programs across the U.S.
Why Choose Escort XP Herbicide?
Escort XP offers unmatched efficiency with ultra-low use rates, broad-spectrum control, and long residual activity. It is ideal for large-acre applications where cost, performance, and flexibility matter.
Where to Use Escort XP
Escort XP is labeled for use in: • Pasture and rangeland • Forestry and plantations (conifer & hardwood) • Rights-of-way and industrial vegetation management • Non-crop areas and conservation lands (CRP) • Utility corridors, railroads, and roadside vegetation
How Escort XP Works
Escort XP inhibits ALS enzyme activity, preventing the production of essential amino acids required for plant growth. After application, susceptible plants stop growing within hours, with visible symptoms developing over several weeks. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
Application Timing
Best results are achieved when applied post-emergence to actively growing weeds. • Annual weeds: apply early growth stages • Perennials: apply at bud/bloom or fall rosette stage • Woody plants: apply during full leaf expansion
