Premium Venus Flytrap Soil Mix Substrate

My hand mixed venus flytrap soil mix is the highest quality venus flytrap substrate you will find. I hand rinse all ingredients to ensure your fly trap mix comes clean and ready to be used. I spend hours rinsing, mixing and cleaning this venus flytrap soil mix so you don't have to. If you want the best soil mix for your venus flytraps, look no further. As long as all of your care is spot on, this venus flytrap soil mix will be the best home you can find for your beautiful carnivorous plants! Look below for additional information on how I make this mix for full transparency!

Hand Mixed

I personally mix every batch of this venus flytrap substrate. I carefully measure, blend, rinse and dry each batch with love and care. I use the exact same method of creating this substrate as I do for my own personal carnivorous plant collection.

High Quality Ingredients

I use only the highest quality ingredients. I've been using these exact ingredients on my own personal venus flytrap collection for years. All ingredients are rinsed and cleaned before blending to ensure your venus flytrap soil comes ready to be used.

Perfect Ratio Of Peat Moss, Perlite & Crushed Glass

I have spent the last 3 years exclusively mixing and perfecting my own personal venus flytrap soil mix. This blend is perfectly optimized for growing venus flytraps and other carnivorous plants.

Perfect Moisture Control For A Venus Flytrap Soil Mix

This blend is the perfect mix of drainage and absorption. Venus flytrap roots need constant access to water but the plant is also subject to crown rot if the plant sits in too much water. This blend absorbs and holds onto the perfect amount of water allowing the rest to drain properly.

Pre Rinsed

This blend is hand mixed and hand rinsed by me personally. I use distilled and pure water to rinse the impurities out of the substrate blend. The glass and perlite are rinsed before blending with the peat moss. Once blended, the mix is rinsed again. It's then fully dried and bagged as ordered.

Crushed Glass

This ingredient makes my blend truly unique. Instead of sand, I mix course crushed glass. This glass is not sharp and does not cut, it's similar to the size, shape and feel to course sand. The glass serves it's function by helping the mix stay loose and well aeriated but also looks incredible in the venus flytrap soil mix. When the sun is out, I stop and stare at my plants every time. The way the sun makes the substrate shimmer and gleam is truly incredible. Now, not only will your plant be a conversation starter, people will have to know where you bought your substrate!

Venus Flytraps & Other Carnivorous Plants

This carnivorous plant soil mix will be great for venus flytraps, but will also work well with Sundews, Sarracenia, Cephalous and many other types of carnivorous plants.

Transparency

Don't believe my claims? I don't blame you, it's the internet, is anyone honest anymore? Come check out my YouTube channel where I show you my process for creating each batch of substrate. I use this substrate mix for my all my own carnivorous plants. See my collection, learn proper venus flytrap and carnivorous plant care and see how I mix and blend this perfect venus flytrap soil mix!

Garmin has been a super disappointment.
Style: Alpha TT 25
FOR THE REMOTE: For reasons I cannot fathom as a software developer, the Garmin developers chose to program the handheld to wait for GPS lock before allowing you to control the collar. This is stupid beyond belief and causes frustration that simply shouldn't be. Look Garmin, the remote should be able to communicate with the collar first and foremost. I want to be able to power everything up, put the collar on the dog, and walk out the door. If my dog sees a rabbit or deer, I want to be able to remind him not to chase. I DON'T want to stand there staring at my remote greeted by the message "Waiting for GPS" with all the buttons non-responsive. Fix this! This should be super easy to fix with a firmware update. Fix it and I'll gladly give this unit 10 stars! GPS is way too finicky to have to wait for it before using the basic controls. Update: SERIOUSLY!! HOT GARBAGE. This remote couldn't find a satellite if I stuck one up its... AGH.. and you can't communicate with your dog's collar until it does. FOR THE COLLAR: You won't be happy with the beeper.. It's super quiet. The light is an awesome feature. Vibration may work for your dog, mine doesn't seem to notice it at all. If the antenna was any longer it would pick up signals from outer space. Buy the shorter one if you decide to go with this unit and don't need to keep your dog from crossing an ocean. Seriously though... I'll never buy anything Garmin again. I would recommend you don't either.

Works Great, Use Daily, No Issues
Style: Alpha TT 25
While expensive, this product is rock-solid and has not given me a single issue over 2 years of use. Would buy again, highly satisfied. Can't beat the functionality or peace of mind of knowing right where our beloved family pet and hunting companion is located.

Great little radio, it was.
Great value for the price. I have received excellent audio reports on a couple repeaters I have tested on so far, on the first day with the radio. Love how you can customize all the display background and text colors. Tempature sensing fan works properly. Unfortunately, they do not send a programming cable with this radio, very annoying! It will not save offset and t-ctcs tone into memory mode when programming by hand, which is unfortunate because it is easier to program by hand than some other cheap radios, like the Baofeng keypad. I really wanted to upload all my channels via Chirp, and to make sure Chirp is actually supported before posting review, but it is what it is, and now I have to find a proper programming cable, then hope I did not pick one that does not work. Other than this very disappointing fact, this radio is well worth the money and I highly recommend if you are on a budget or just getting into the hobby. I have mainly been working HF since getting my General ticket and have made contact all over the world, so you can rest assured this review is by someone who knows what they are talking about. Grab one while you can, you will not be disappointed, except for them not including a programming cable! Edit: Have to return, squelch not working on second day. Right in the middle of a net, had to use monitor button to finish my contact. Turn monitor off and the receiver will not open squelch, which is set to 1. Can set squelch to 0 and receive but anyone who runs VHF/UHF knows that, unlike HF, an open squelch is just too noisy. Spent hours trying to fix, no joy! 73, Stephen
