Minimum: 10+ seeds
The Paddle Plant (Kalanchoe thyrsiflora), also known as Flapjack or Desert Cabbage, is a stunning succulent that brings a bold and architectural presence to any garden or indoor space. With its large, round, paddle-shaped leaves that gradually develop a beautiful reddish edge, this plant is a favorite among succulent enthusiasts. Its unique appearance, low maintenance needs, and adaptability make it a standout choice for gardeners and collectors alike.
Why Grow Paddle Plant (Kalanchoe thyrsiflora)?
- Striking Appearance: The thick, fleshy, paddle-shaped leaves create a dramatic visual impact. The leaves' green color with red tinges intensifies in full sun, adding a pop of color to your garden or home.
- Low Maintenance: Paddle Plant is easy to care for, making it ideal for both beginner and experienced gardeners. It’s drought-tolerant and thrives with minimal attention.
- Versatile: Suitable for container gardening, rock gardens, and indoor settings, Paddle Plant adapts well to various environments.
- Air Purifying: Like other succulents, Paddle Plant helps purify the air, making it a great addition to your indoor plant collection.
- Organic and Non-GMO: Our seeds are organically grown and non-GMO, ensuring a healthy, sustainable addition to your garden.
Growing Tips for Paddle Plant (Kalanchoe thyrsiflora)
- When to Plant: Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date or directly in the garden after the last frost when temperatures consistently remain above 60°F (16°C).
- Soil Requirements: Plant in well-draining, sandy or gritty soil. A cactus or succulent potting mix works well. Paddle Plant prefers slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0).
- Planting Depth: Scatter seeds on the soil surface and press them in lightly. Do not cover, as Paddle Plant seeds require light to germinate.
- Sunlight: Place in a location with full sun to partial shade. Bright, indirect light is ideal indoors, while full sun will enhance the red edges of the leaves outdoors.
- Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so water sparingly. During winter, reduce watering to a minimum.
- Spacing: Space plants 12-18 inches apart to allow for their rosette growth and airflow, preventing potential fungal issues.
Caring for Your Paddle Plant
- Pruning: Trim any dead or damaged leaves to maintain the plant’s appearance and health. You can also remove the offsets that develop at the base to propagate new plants.
- Pest and Disease Resistance: Paddle Plant is generally resistant to pests and diseases, but keep an eye out for common succulent pests like mealybugs and aphids. Treat with insecticidal soap if necessary.
- Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced, diluted succulent fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer) to encourage healthy growth. Avoid fertilizing during winter when the plant is dormant.
Design and Companion Planting Ideas
- Companion Planting: Paddle Plant pairs beautifully with other succulents like Echeveria, Aloe, and Sedum. Its bold form also complements ornamental grasses and flowering plants with contrasting textures.
- Garden Design: Use Paddle Plant as a focal point in rock gardens, xeriscapes, or mixed succulent arrangements. Its architectural form adds height and interest to container gardens and patio displays.
Uses and Benefits
- Ornamental Beauty: Paddle Plant’s unique form and color make it a prized ornamental plant, perfect for adding a touch of modern elegance to any space.
- Indoor Decor: As an indoor plant, Paddle Plant enhances the aesthetic of your living spaces while improving air quality.
- Propagation: Easily propagate Paddle Plant by dividing offsets, allowing you to expand your collection or share with friends.

Overall AMAZING moniter for the price
Size: 24"/FHD/240Hz
It dose everything it said it did without any downsides thus far. I will say having it grouped with all the other monitors in the listing kinda skews the reviews for all the monitors and the HDR 400 certification not being a real HDR value is a bit scummy for marketing however over all its a amazing monitor. virtually 0 input lantancy as far as i can tell and its more than bright enough for me. Its color calibration is a bit off by default but can be easily fixed by switching to the cool setting. I was expecting it to come with a display port cable but it only came with a HDMI cable. I would have liked to see a display port cable but i understand why its a HDMI cable. It was very easy to setup and easy to use as its just the stand, the monitor, and the HDMI and power cords. The monitor stand is nice but its obviously where Koorui cheaped out however for a monitor of this price you cant beat it.

Excellent Budget Gaming Monitor
Size: 24.5" 200Hz/FHD
I’m very impressed with this monitor for the price. The 200Hz refresh rate makes gameplay feel incredibly smooth, especially in fast-paced games. The picture quality is sharp, colors look good, and the screen size is perfect for both gaming and everyday use.

Better off saving your money for a quality brand like Acer or Samsung
Size: 24"/FHD/240Hz
If you were looking for a decent gaming monitor with a good refresh rate, you better keep looking. Honestly, I wanted to really like this thing. For $120, it ticked off a lot of great features for me: at least 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p quality, and some nifty reticule marks for FPS gamers like myself. And for a year I had no problems with it until a few days ago. The ability to control input's, power, and toggle the reticule features all lie on one singular button behind the monitor. Here lie's the issue; if that power button starts messing up, there is no way to control or turn on/off the monitor. This is exactly what happened on my unit; the power button/control went out and the monitor was basically useless. I contacted Koorui support via email, and all I got was a vague "Did you confirm the button is really broken" response. Replied back that I did, and the manufacturer has ghosted me. Basically, I HIGHLY advise you just save up a few $80 or $100 dollars and get a decent entry level gaming monitor. By going cheap with this one, you will just end up probably wearing out the power/control button and be left with an expensive paperweight. If you are DIY repair savvy, I am sure that replacing the power/control button probably is not that big of a deal. In which case, go right ahead as it is a decent monitor for the price. But with that said, having this thing break leaves you with basically no options to get it fixed and good luck trying to get a hold of Koorui for support. Sadly, this is a growing trend on buying electronic's here on amazon from smaller brand sellers.
*Update* So as of writing this review, I got Koorui to reach out to me. They would agree to replace the monitor for free, but I would have to front the shipping costs. They have their operations out in California, so if you live on the east coast then expect to pay around $40-50 for shipping for the monitor all the way out there (nearly half the monitor's value). I told Koorui that this just did not make any financial sense and they offered to refund me 50% of the monitor's value. However, they have yet to specify how they will send the refund, so I am unsure of whether I will see my partial refund when this is all said and done. So know that if you do proceed to get this monitor and need to return it past the 30 day return window covered by Amazon. TLDR: just save up an extra $50-100 for a big brand gaming monitor and save yourself the headache of dealing with all of this.

I feel fully enveloped in the work
Size: 34"/WQHD/1000R/HDR400
Changed my work at home experience. I feel fully enveloped in the work. I don't use it for gaming so can't comment on that. But for laptop heavy work days, this is a great experience.
