How Pendulum 3.3 EC Pre-Emergent Herbicide Works
Pendulum 3.3 EC Pre-Emergent Herbicide, which is short for emulsifiable concentrate, contains the same active ingredient that's found in other Pendulum products: pendimethalin. This ingredient targets weeds below the soil before they have a chance to germinate and to elongate. It inhibits the cell division process in the target weeds and grasses, so they're unable to grow roots and shoots, to emerge from the soil and to compete with other plants. Pendulum 3.3 EC per-emejrgent herbicide is an oil-based formula unlike its granular counterparts.
The emulsifiable concentrate is made up of three parts: the main ingredient, a solvent and a surfactant. The solvent helps to dissolve the pendimethalin so that the plant can easily absorb it. The surfactant reduces the surface tension of the weeds and helps the herbicide work even better and faster than other products of its kind.
Where to Use Pendulum 3.3 EC Pre-Emergent Herbicide
