Philodendron billietiae is a striking tropical plant celebrated for its elongated, arrow-shaped leaves accented by distinctive orange petioles that add a bold architectural statement to any space. Its climbing growth habit, complete with aerial roots, makes it a dramatic and unique addition for collectors and plant enthusiasts alike.
This plant thrives in bright, indirect light—avoid direct sunlight to keep its foliage vibrant. It prefers a well-draining potting mix and benefits from a humid environment with 60-80% humidity, alongside temperatures ranging between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Water consistently, allowing the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out before watering again, to maintain optimal health. Repotting every 2-3 years is recommended to support its growth.
As a rare variety, each specimen arrives in a nursery pot ready to be welcomed into your home. Please unpack your new plant promptly, as soil may shift during transit, which is normal. We encourage you to inspect your plant within 24 hours and reach out if any issues arise. Seasonal availability means the exact appearance may vary slightly from images shown, but every plant boasts its own unique charm.
Important: This plant is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. Please place it safely out of reach.
With its wavy leaf edges and vibrant stems, this Philodendron variety is a captivating focal point that adds lush, tropical flair to your indoor garden. Whether you're expanding a collection or seeking a standout houseplant, it offers moderate care requirements and rewards attention with its distinctive character and growth.
