Product Overview:
Topkill is a selective, post-emergence herbicide containing Tembotrione 34.4% SC. It is used in maize crops to control a broad spectrum of both broadleaf and grassy weeds. It works systemically and is highly effective at low application rates.
Summary:
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Mode of Action | 4-HPPD inhibitor - blocks carotenoid synthesis → chlorophyll bleaching → weed death |
| Crop | Maize (corn) |
| Target Weeds | Broad-leaf weeds and grassy weeds (e.g., Echinochloa spp., Trianthema portulacastrum, Brachiaria spp.) |
| Application Timing | Post-emergence of weeds; often when weeds are at 2-5 leaf stage (or early growth) |
| Dosage (approximate) | ~114-115 ml/acre for maize (varies by product/brand) |
| Water Volume / Acre | ~200 L per acre for spray dilution (varies) |
| Waiting Period / PHI | ~55 days (for maize) in some formulations. |
Benefits:
- Broad-spectrum control: It kills a wide variety of chewing and sucking insects that damage crops, including bollworms, fruit borers, aphids, and jassids.
- Fast action: As a neurotoxin, it acts quickly on the insect's nervous system, causing rapid paralysis and death.
- Dual action: The insecticide works through both contact (killing pests that touch the treated surface) and stomach action (killing pests that ingest treated foliage), ensuring higher efficacy.
- Higher yields: By effectively controlling pests, Topkill helps protect crops from infestation, leading to healthier plants and better yields.
- Cost-effective: Its high efficacy and broad-spectrum control mean that lower application rates can be effective, making it an economical choice for farmers.

Better Than OEM – Worth the Upgrade
Size: 1" x 1" x 1"
The K&N filter is a big step up from the standard Toyota air filters and OEM replacements. Installation was quick and easy, and the fit is perfect. I’ve noticed smoother airflow and better throttle response compared to the stock filter. The best part is that it’s washable and reusable, so it’s a long-term investment instead of constantly buying replacements. Definitely a smarter choice for anyone who wants performance and value over the typical paper filters.

Does the job, economical and a perfect fit
Size: 1" x 1" x 1"
Bought exactly 1 year ago for 3rd Gen Tundra. So far, it really does the job. At first I didn’t realize how awesome it was until I had to remove and clean it yesterday. Although I keep my truck immaculate inside and out, after 1 years use, the filter had become extremely filthy and the air had an old mildew, vomit, stank smell. When clean and set for fresh air, I can only faintly notice diesel exhaust smells from those in front of me. I also notice little to no dust accumulation on my dash and flat surfaces. In my opinion the K&N cabin filter kit is an essential tool for cleaning this filter. K&N made the filter, so I would imagine that they know how to clean and refresh it properly. By the way, refresh solution is nearly fragrance free. I bought the refresh kit at a big box auto supply and it came in a mostly black box instead of the white box as sold on here. Don’t know if that means the formulation has changed or not.
