Sansevieria ‘Icicle’ is a striking, upright snake plant cultivar known for its slender, pointed leaves and cool-toned green colouring with subtle striping. Its architectural form and clean, vertical lines make it an excellent choice for modern interiors, adding structure and a contemporary feel to homes and offices. The narrow foliage grows in a compact clump, giving this variety a refined and elegant appearance compared to broader-leaf snake plants.
Like other Sansevieria varieties, ‘Icicle’ is exceptionally low maintenance and highly adaptable. It thrives in bright, indirect light but also performs well in medium to low light conditions, making it suitable for a wide range of indoor spaces. Allow the soil to dry out completely between watering, as this plant is drought-tolerant and sensitive to overwatering. A well-draining potting mix is essential to prevent root rot and maintain healthy growth.
Sansevieria ‘Icicle’ tolerates dry indoor air and fluctuating temperatures, making it ideal for busy households or office environments. Its hardy nature makes it suitable for beginners while still appealing to collectors looking for unique snake plant cultivars. Occasional feeding during the growing season can support steady growth, though it performs well even with minimal care.
