Description:
The Spathiphyllum, also known as the Peace Lily, is a lush, tropical plant that adds a touch of greenery to any space. Its beautiful, white, spathe-like flowers and dark green leaves make it a popular choice for indoor gardens. The Peace Lily is also known for its air-purifying properties, making it a great choice for bedrooms and other living spaces.
Plant Care:
- Light: Peace Lily prefers bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate low light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
- Water: Water your Peace Lily regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Overwatering can be harmful to this plant.
- Temperature: This plant prefers temperatures between 60-85°F (15-29°C), but can tolerate a wide range of temperatures.
- Humidity: Spathiphyllum prefers high humidity, but can tolerate average humidity levels.
- Fertilizer: Fertilize your Peace Lily once every two to three months with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
- Pruning: Prune the leaves as needed to maintain the desired height and shape. Cut just above a node, where new growth will emerge. Remove yellow or damaged leaves regularly to maintain the plant's appearance.
Disclaimer:
Our plants are always supplied with nursery pots. Please note, therefore, that the size specifications always refer to the height of the plant including the plant pot. Deviations of a few centimeters cannot always be ruled out as you are buying a natural living product. The height depends on several factors and can also vary slightly seasonally. The mentioned height of the plant is inclusive of the pot.
