Rare natural Washita stone with fast, uniform cutting action and excellent tactile feedback.
Natural stone
Rare Washita material
Washita Lily White Pike is a rare natural sharpening stone. The original deposit was depleted before the middle of the last century.
Performance
Fast and uniform
The stone works quickly and evenly, making it useful across several sharpening stages.
Feedback
Excellent response
Balanced hardness gives the stone clear tactile and audible feedback during sharpening.
Sharpening range
From geometry refinement to pre-finish
The stone has a rare abrasive range, covering sharpening stages from the finishing stage of geometry formation to almost pre-finishing.
Its behavior can be adjusted by changing the amount of coolant and sharpening pressure.
If there is no need to change the angle or remove large chips, this stone can handle much of the sharpening process on its own.
Best use
Middle sharpening stage
The best use of this stone is in the middle sharpening stage, where its speed, uniformity, and feedback are especially useful.
It is a soft and fast natural stone mounted for guided sharpening systems.
