A dainty and versatile evergreen climber, Ficus pumila ‘White Sunny’ is loved for its small, heart-shaped leaves edged in creamy white. This variegated creeping fig is perfect for adding texture and movement to your indoor jungle or terrarium—whether trailing from a shelf, spilling from a hanging pot, or climbing up a moss pole. Easy to care for and adaptable, it thrives in bright, indirect light and enjoys a bit of extra humidity, making it an ideal choice for bathrooms, kitchens, or anywhere you want a fresh, botanical accent. Its fast-growing, cascading nature makes it a favourite among plant lovers looking for a lush, romantic vibe all year round.
Plant Care
Light: Loves bright, indirect light to keep those creamy edges vivid, but will tolerate medium light. Avoid harsh midday sun to prevent leaf scorch.
Watering: Keep lightly moist—water when the top 2–3cm of soil feels dry. Reduce watering in winter to avoid waterlogging.
Temperature: 15–24°C, and not below 13°C.
Humidity: Average to high humidity is ideal; group with other plants or place near a humidity source if your air is very dry.
Potting: Our A Basic Base mix offers the perfect balance of moisture retention and drainage for those fine roots. If your space runs dry, Thirst Trap is a great alternative.
Hot Tips: Prune regularly to keep growth compact and encourage a fuller look. Train it to climb for a living wall effect, or let it cascade naturally for a softer, trailing display.
Pet Friendly: Nope—mildly toxic if ingested.
