Bring a tropical twist to your plant collection with the Pineapple Plant, a unique and fun addition that’s as eye-catching as it is easy to grow! Known for its spiky, sword-like leaves and the miniature pineapple that grows right from the center, this plant is a conversation starter and a favorite for sunny indoor spaces or warm patios.
The Pineapple Plant adds exotic flair while being surprisingly low-maintenance—and yes, that small pineapple is real!
Plant Care:
Light:
Loves bright, direct to bright indirect light. A sunny windowsill or well-lit patio is ideal. The more light, the better for healthy growth and fruit development.
Water:
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Avoid overwatering. It’s best to water the soil and occasionally fill the central rosette (the “cup” at the base of the leaves) with a small amount of water.
Humidity:
Enjoys moderate to high humidity but adapts well to average household conditions.
Temperature:
Thrives in 70–85°F (21–29°C). Protect from cold drafts and bring indoors if temperatures drop below 55°F.
Pet Safety:
✅ Pet-friendly!
Ananas comosus is non-toxic to cats and dogs, though the leaves and small pineapple can be spiky—handle with care.
Pot Size:
Comes in a 10-inch nursery pot. Decorative planters sold separately.
Note: While the small pineapple is real, it's more ornamental than edible—best enjoyed as a decorative feature!
