As with other members of the Graptopetalum genus, G. pentandrum subsp. superbum is drought-tolerant and prefers well-draining soil, full sun to partial shade, and infrequent watering. In spring, it may produce star-shaped, white to pale yellow flowers with red speckling. Its elegant coloration and form make it a standout in both containers and rock gardens.
