Jade pothos, also known as Epipremnum aureum 'Jade', is a cultivar of the pothos plant that is known for its beautiful green foliage. It is a popular houseplant that is easy to care for and can tolerate a wide range of growing conditions.
The leaves of jade pothos are typically heart-shaped and a vibrant shade of green. The plant can grow up to several feet long and is often grown as a trailing vine, making it a great choice for hanging baskets or training up a trellis or support.
Like other varieties of pothos, jade pothos is known for its air-purifying qualities and is often used to help remove toxins from the air in indoor environments. It is also tolerant of low light levels and can thrive in a variety of indoor lighting conditions, making it a popular choice for offices and other low-light environments.
While jade pothos is generally considered to be a non-toxic plant, it is important to note that all parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested. Care should be taken to keep jade pothos out of reach of pets and children, and any contact with the plant should be followed by washing hands thoroughly to avoid accidental ingestion.
