The Frost Proof Gardenia is best known as the Grace Of The South. This heat-loving evergreen shrub with intensely fragrant blooms will have you star-struck with its southern beauty.
The beautiful white double formed blooms provide a great contrast against shiny dark green leaves. It is great planted around a deck or window, so you can enjoy the fragrance during the entire blooming season. The Gardenia is a must-have in every landscaping.
The Frost Proof Gardenia gets its name because of its frost hardiness. It will hold its blooms after a frost! The Frost Proof Gardenia is also much more insect and disease resistant than older varieties.
Snowy white blossoms can be expected to emerge on this glossy evergreen shrub from spring throughout summer. This Frost Free Gardenia prefers partial to full sun and requires well-drained soil. The dense low growing growth habit makes the Gardenia bush popular for its ability to thrive in limited amounts of space. Only growing to a height of 4 feet and a width of 3 feet, it is perfect to fill in tight spaces or simply to reside as a container plant.
Whatever the need may be, the Frost Proof Gardenia is an evergreen shrub sure to grace you with its beauty and fragrance. The Gardenia will waft sweet, intoxicating scents your way during the blooming season. Classic and not to showy, this shrub will be sure to delight you as well as anyone who comes upon it.
