Monstera obliqua 'Peru' is one of the rarest and most highly sought-after houseplants in the world. Known for its paper-thin leaves with extreme fenestration—often more hole than leaf—it’s a true collector’s piece. Its stolon-forming habit and delicate growth make it unlike any other Monstera.
Why You’ll Love It ✔️
✔️ Extreme fenestration – Up to 90% of each leaf is open space, creating a lace-like look.
✔️ A collector’s dream – Revered by aroid enthusiasts for its rarity and striking form.
✔️ Compact & unique – Small-leafed and stolon-growing, perfect for terrariums or cabinets.
Care Tips
🌞 Light: Bright, indirect light only—no direct sun on delicate leaves.
💧 Water: Keep soil lightly moist; let top 2–3 cm dry between waterings.
💦 Humidity: Needs high humidity (70–80%); use a humidifier for best results.
🌡 Temperature: Maintain 18–26°C; never below 15°C.
🌱 Soil: Use a mix of coco coir, coco chip & perlite for airflow and drainage.
🪴 Support: Climbs via stolons—provide a fine-grain moss pole or mount.
🌿 Fertiliser: Controlled-release fertiliser is in the mix; supplement monthly with balanced liquid feed in spring/summer.
🚫 Toxicity: We believe it’s safe, but recommend keeping out of reach of pets and children.
This is a rare opportunity to own a true unicorn—don’t miss out.
