DESCRIPTION
Fatsia japonica, an evergreen shrub, boasts captivating exotic and tropical-looking leaves, earning it the nicknames "Umbrella Plant" or "False Castor Oil Plant" due to their similar shape. With a penchant for bright sunny days, Fatsia thrives and flourishes when exposed to over 6 hours of bright indirect sunlight daily.
To ensure its optimal growth, keep the soil consistently moist, but avoid waterlogged conditions, as Fatsia cannot tolerate wet soil. On the other hand, allowing the soil to partially dry out is essential as they dislike dry soil. Strike a balance by letting the water dry out from the soil to the halfway mark on the grow pot before watering again.
With its striking appearance and straightforward care requirements, Fatsia japonica stands out as an impressive addition to any garden or indoor space, providing a touch of exotic charm and greenery that will surely captivate onlookers.
