Echeveria ‘Apus’ – Pastel Blue-Green Succulent with Pink Blush Edges | Compact Rosette Beauty
Add a touch of elegance to your collection with Echeveria ‘Apus’, a stunning hybrid succulent admired for its perfectly shaped, compact rosettes and dreamy pastel tones. Its soft blue-green leaves are coated in a velvety layer of farina, giving a frosted, powdery glow, while the leaf tips and margins often blush with delicate shades of pink to lilac in bright light.
This symmetrical beauty is ideal for pots, windowsills, rock gardens, and mixed succulent arrangements, where its subtle, ethereal colours bring charm and sophistication year-round. In spring and summer, ‘Apus’ produces tall flower stalks crowned with coral-pink, bell-shaped blooms, adding another layer of ornamental appeal.
Key Features
- Perfectly formed rosettes up to 15 cm across.
- Pastel blue-green foliage with pink to lilac edges.
- Velvety farina coating for a frosted, dreamy effect.
- Striking coral-pink flowers on tall stems.
- Compact and symmetrical—ideal for decorative displays.
Care Guide
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light or gentle morning sun.
- Water: Water deeply but infrequently, allowing soil to dry before watering again. Avoid water sitting in the rosette.
- Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus/succulent mix with added perlite or pumice.
- Temperature: Prefers warmth; protect from frost and excessive moisture.
- Fertilizer: Apply diluted succulent fertilizer in the growing season (spring–summer).
- Propagation: Easily propagated by offsets or leaf cuttings.
- Maintenance: Remove old lower leaves to keep plants tidy and prevent pests.
With its soft pastel tones and graceful rosette form, Echeveria ‘Apus’ is the perfect choice for collectors and designers looking to add subtle colour and sculptural beauty to any space.
The succulent plant housed in the red pot comes in a 130mm pot. While the image provides a representative depiction of what you will receive, but may vary slightly because no two succulents are the same.
