Haworthia retusa - The Elegant Star Cactus
Enhance your plant collection with the unique and resilient Haworthia retusa, commonly known as the Star Cactus or Window Succulent. This captivating succulent is recognized for its distinctive rosette formation and translucent leaf tips, making it a standout addition to any garden or indoor display.
Features:
- Unique Appearance: Star Cactus features thick, fleshy, triangular leaves that form a star-shaped rosette. The vibrant green leaves have translucent “windows” at the tips, allowing light to penetrate and enhance photosynthesis, giving the plant a distinctive and eye-catching look.
- Compact Growth: This succulent grows in a compact form, making it perfect for small pots, windowsills, or as part of a succulent arrangement.
- Drought Tolerant: Haworthia retusa is highly drought-tolerant, requiring minimal watering and allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings, making it a low-maintenance choice for gardeners.
- Versatile Decor: Ideal for container gardens, succulent arrangements, or as a decorative accent on windowsills, Star Cactus adds a touch of elegance and intrigue to any indoor or outdoor setting.
- Seasonal Blooms: During the growing season, Haworthia retusa may produce tall, slender flower stalks adorned with small, white, tubular flowers, adding a delicate contrast to the robust, green rosettes.
Care Instructions:
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect sunlight but can tolerate some direct light. Avoid prolonged exposure to harsh afternoon rays.
- Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water thoroughly, ensuring good drainage, and avoid letting the plant sit in water.
- Soil: Use a well-draining succulent or cactus mix to prevent root rot.
- Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). Protect from frost and extreme heat.
- Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer diluted to half strength during the growing season (spring and summer).
Enhance your plant collection with the unique beauty of Haworthia retusa. Its distinctive leaf structure and vibrant, translucent tips make it a standout choice for any succulent enthusiast.
Special Note: Please be aware that succulents are fragile and may lose leaves during the shipping process. This is normal and the plant will recover with proper care.

Exactly what I needed for my bathroom refresh.
Color: B. Rustic Brown - Americana Farmhouse Style, Number Of Shelves: 2, Size: 22.5inches, Color: B. Rustic Brown - Americana Farmhouse Style, Number Of Shelves: 2, Size: 22.5inches
I bought these floating shelves in the color Rustic Brown to replace a bulky storage shelf that was making my bathroom feel cramped, and they completely transformed the space. The wood finish looks much more expensive than I expected, and once installed they gave the bathroom a clean, modern, spa-like feel without taking up visual space.
Installation was straightforward overall. I mounted one screw in the center into a stud and used drywall anchors for the remaining hardware, and the shelves feel very sturdy. They sit flush against the wall and don’t sag or wobble. I especially love how slim they are while still being deep enough to hold everyday bathroom items, decor, candles, skincare, and small baskets.
The color worked perfectly with my bathroom vanity and mirror trim, and the floating design instantly made the room look more organized and intentional. Huge upgrade for a small space.
Definitely recommend if you want functional storage that also looks elevated and minimalist.

Good Shelves
Color: B. Rustic Brown - Americana Farmhouse Style, Number Of Shelves: 3, Size: 22.5inches
These shelves are really nice quality and look as advertised. The hardware included was great quality, metal drywall anchors and good screws. They were easy to install, and make even/level with each other. My only gripe is the price, but I'm very satisfied with the product overall.

Attractive, easy to install, nicely equipped hardware package.
Color: B. Rustic Brown - Americana Farmhouse Style, Number Of Shelves: 2, Size: 22.5inches
These are pretty doggone nice shelves and I appreciate the fact that they are not made of solid particle board. Yes they are made of an engineered product, but they are lightweight and strong…and look better than particle board products and more costly than their actual price.
Easy installation system with the bracket…not fussy like some are.
An especially thoughtful touch is the variety of hardware that is included. Also a tiny level for use when installing them. What? …So they can be installed correctly? I was pleasantly surprised by this inclusion.
