- Although sometimes referred to as Nile grass, papyrus is actually an aquatic reed, or sedge. Papyrus plants are thought by some to be the iconic "rushes" where the infant Moses was hidden from the Egyptians in the biblical legend.
- In appearance, this perennial ornamental grass combines drama, grace, and even humor. Growing in clumps, the papyrus plant extends a tall reedy stem as much as 8 feet tall, atop which perches a clump of umbrella-like grassy rays.
- The plant is undeniably elegant, but with eccentric touch that makes it look like it belongs in a Dr. Seuss book. Papyrus is a dramatic plant that looks great in big, simple containers. It has the stature to be alone in a pot or it can add height and interest to a grouping of container gardens.
- Papyrus is usually planted in the spring from nursery-grown plants. It grows quickly to achieve its adult stature, making it ideal to plant as an annual in regions where it is not hardy.

Pup Loves It, Some Other Notes
Color: Orange
We've had this for about six months and my 75 lb, 14-month-old German Shepherd pup LOVES IT. Her favorite is "Crazy Bouncing Mode." In fact, she doesn't care much for the normal mode. She chews it a lot - even drops it in her water bowl at times - and it's still going strong.
This is a great purchase. It's nice hands-off entertainment.
Do know that it is heavy compared to a normal ball - if your pup likes dropping it on the ground like mine does, it will land with a hard "thud," even with the included sleeve. Hopefully you don't have downstairs neighbors.
Also know that the cover that goes over the charging port is removable and your dog may choke on it if they chew it in just the right manner. Definitely only let the pup play with it while supervised.
All in all, great toy.

My dog LOVES these balls
Awesome balls! Soft, squishy, and dog can get their teeth into them but they don’t get damaged. My dog absolutely loves them!

Durable.
These are great for my 13 lb Schnauzer. Just the right size to keep him occupied! He loves chasing after them when we play catch. They’ve held up well to his sharp teeth.

Durable yet soft ball that our dog enjoys chewing.
The balls are soft and well received by our puppy. They are pretty durable and he enjoys both chasing after them and teething on them.
