Tradescantia pallida ”Purpurea” is a tender and attractive plant with outstanding colours. It is widely used as a house plant and for outdoor gardens. It is a long-jointed sprawling ground-cover plant. Its stems and branches recline on the ground and its ascending extremities can grow up to 20cms tall.
The stems and upper surfaces of the leaves are a deep royal purple with shades of a faint dusty turquoise-gunmetal that becomes darker as the foliage grows older. It blooms in small clusters throughout the warm season making small three-petaled flowers of a vivid pink that only stay open in the morning.
They are great for hanging pots or as groundcovers and can add a lush texture and a tropical atmosphere to any indoor or outdoor forest. It is also excellent in containers and ideal for gardening beginners.
This plant comes in a grow pot & wrapped in brown paper.

Don't over water the Purple Queen, this plant prefers to dry out between waters and be kept in, indirect sunlight.

The message and encouragement in these pages are for a thoughtful read and read-again. It has helped me understand and pursue an unhurried being, care for my soul enriching my relationwith with God, others and myself. Hint: It's not about time management or eliminating calendar commitments; can be but it's more than that, it is care of one's soul before God. This book has focused me .... as I said, it's a read and listen once twice thrice kind of book. Much to savor.
