Philodendron ser. Rupicola, commonly known as Silver Pastazanum, is a highly sought-after species with broad, heart-shaped leaves and an elegant, silvery sheen that reflects light beautifully. The thick, textured foliage has deep veining and a slightly quilted finish, making it a striking addition to any rare aroid collection. This creeping species is best grown in a wide, shallow pot or mounted in a cabinet setup to allow its horizontal growth habit to shine. Plants thrive in high humidity, bright indirect light, and a chunky, well-aerated aroid mix. A slower grower but well worth the wait for collectors who appreciate form and texture.
