DESCRIPTION
The Passion Fruit plant, scientifically known as Passiflora edulis, originates from the tropical regions of South America, including Brazil, Paraguay, and northern Argentina. This vigorous climber thrives in Singapore's climate, requiring ample sunlight and regular watering to keep the soil consistently moist. With its attractive foliage, fragrant flowers, and delicious fruits, the passion fruit plant adds both ornamental and culinary value to any garden. While relatively easy to care for, it's essential to monitor soil moisture levels and prune the vines regularly to prevent overgrowth. Passion fruit plants are non-toxic to pets, but precautions should still be taken to avoid excessive consumption of the fruits. With proper care, this plant will reward you with abundant harvests of flavorful passion fruits, perfect for enjoying fresh or in a variety of culinary creations.
Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
