Sustainable Cactus Gritty Mix: Upcycled Coconut Husk & Coir Blend

Cactus Gritty Mix is the mix that started it all! This eco‑friendly twist on traditional gritty cactus soil uses coconut husk chips and coir—byproducts of the coconut industry that would otherwise go to waste. Perfect for desert‑dwelling plants like Euphorbia, Agave, and Golden Barrel Cacti, the blend delivers exceptional aeration and moisture retention while maintaining a fast‑draining structure. By upcycling husks from the 50 million coconuts produced annually, you’ll nourish your cacti and succulents with sustainable, nutrient‑rich media.

  • Sustainable Ingredients: Upcycled coconut husk chips and coir support aeration and moisture balance.
  • Fast‑Draining Formula: Dries quickly to prevent overwatering and root rot.
  • Pre‑Dried Convenience: Dust‑free, long shelf life, and ready to use straight from the bag.
  • Eco‑Friendly Sourcing: Reduces agricultural waste by leveraging coconut industry byproducts.
  • Ideal for Potted Plants: Perfect for cacti, succulents, and other drought‑tolerant species.

Good color, but expensive
Style: Cartridge Ink
Frankly, as with other printers, I thought that I could use reconditioned cartridges with this printer. The first set I purchased was not recognized, thus I have had to purchase genuine products. The cartridges, also offering good color, do not last long. It's a trade-off between cost and quality. If you have to go to Staples from dire need, be sure to price match, for Amazon is $1 less than Staples. Staples will match Amazon. Overall, I try to buy from Amazon.

Big Print Outs Look Great With Epson Ink
Style: Cartridge Ink
So I paint and I'd been trying to find a way to print out large pics to aid me when I'm trying to get my shading correct. This ink is fabulous...the printer just does a great job. First I print one in color and the second in greyscale...it helps a great deal when working with the shading. Epson can even add a couple other color cartridges to get different effects. I'm very happy with Epson inks. They really made a good selection of colors to make prints look amazing. 5 stars
