Philodendron 'Bloody Mary' is a striking hybrid cultivar known for its deep burgundy to almost black foliage, offering a dramatic accent to any indoor plant collection. As a houseplant, 'Bloody Mary' requires bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant leaf color without scorching. It prefers well-draining, aerated soil and consistent moisture, allowing the top inch to dry out between waterings. High humidity levels above 60% support optimal growth, so occasional misting or a humidifier is beneficial. Keep temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C) and avoid cold drafts. Regular feeding with a balanced, diluted fertilizer during the growing season encourages lush foliage. With proper care, Philodendron 'Bloody Mary' becomes a captivating centerpiece that enriches indoor spaces with its unique beauty.
