Ponytail Palm Floor Plant – Sculptural Beauty with Effortless Care
The Beaucarnea recurvata, commonly known as the Ponytail Palm or Elephant’s Foot, is a show-stopping floor plant that brings architectural charm to your space. Native to the dry regions of eastern Mexico, this slow-growing succulent features a thick, bulb-like trunk that stores water, topped with a fountain of ribbon-like leaves that cascade downward for a dramatic effect.
Despite the name, it’s not a true palm—its resilience, drought-tolerance, and striking silhouette make it ideal for plant lovers seeking a low-maintenance statement piece.
Great for Bright Corners & Busy Schedules
This floor-sized version is perfect for larger spaces like living rooms, entryways, and offices. It’s highly tolerant of irregular watering and thrives with minimal fuss. Its slow growth ensures long-term enjoyment without frequent repotting or pruning.
