Vesicularia Montagnei, more commonly known as Christmas Moss or X-mas Moss is arguably one of the most popular aquatic mosses commonly used in the planted aquarium hobby. Ideal for beginners, this low-maintenance moss adapts to a wide range of parameters and requires minimal care. This listing includes Christmas Moss pre-attached to a lightweight sphere attached to clear fishing line and small weight, producing a floating appearance. Offering an ornamental look, these floating moss balls are a great addition to low light aquariums and are a great gift to beginner hobbyists or for anyone who enjoys whimsical aquarium decor.
Aquarium Moss is a top choice for all skill levels. Once established, Christmas Moss is a quick growing moss and may require regular pruning to ensure a manicured look. Manual removal is best, but if trimming is required, we recommend turning off filters and pumps to prevent the moss spreading to unwanted areas.
