About the Pepper Joe’s Jalapeño Pepper

Pepper Joe’s Jalapeño is a Capsicum annuum variety prized for its classic jalapeño flavor and moderate heat. Plants typically grow 4 feet tall and produce around 3-inch long peppers with smooth green skin.

Flavor is often described as bright, grassy, and slightly bitter, delivering familiar jalapeño heat that’s milder than serrano peppers. This makes it an excellent all-purpose pepper for fresh use and cooking.

  • Heat Level: Medium

  • Flavor: Bright, grassy, and slightly bitter

  • Pepper Appearance: Smooth green jalapeños

  • Culinary Use: Fresh use, salsas, nachos, grilling, pickling, and cooking

Growing & Care Information

  • Grower Experience Level: Beginner

  • Growth Habit: Bushy, compact plant

  • Mature Plant Size: Approximately 3-4 feet tall

  • Pepper Pod Size: Typically around 3 inches long

  • Days to Maturity: Approximately 65–80 days from transplant

Excellent 120 pages book on a complex subject.
Format: Paperback
I thought this was an excellent 120 pages book on a complex subject. It discusses a variety of subjects besides the title of plate tectonics and which are related to it: continental drift, oceanic seafloor spreading, fracture zones, subduction of tectonic plate edges, faulting, the creation of mountains and plateaus, earthquakes, volcanism, oceanic magnetic anomalies, and the locations of concentrated metallic ores. The text is accompanied by almost 40 sketches and diagrams elaborating on the discussions provided in the text. The book also introduces the grand concepts of Earth geology such as the mantle, lithosphere, and asthenosphere. It also provides a short history of the development of the concept of plate tectonics. Finally, the book provides specific detailed descriptions of the formation of major mountain ranges and plateaus such as the Himalayas, the Tibetan Plateau, Tien Shan, the Tarim Basin, the movement of Eastern Asia, the Andes, and the western US mountain ranges. It also gives a short description of the movement of India from the eastern edge of the African Plate to the Eurasian Plate over the past 90+ million years.

Books like this have to be leavened with a human dimension ...
Format: Paperback
This book is too technical for people who are new to the subject of plate tectonics. In fact, I think it is fair to say that if you can understand this book you don't need to read it but if you need to read it you won't understand it. Books like this have to be leavened with a human dimension in the form of stories about people. This book has such stories but they are very brief and tend to get burried under the tecnical detail. There are other books in the "A Very Short Introduction" series which give far more accessible introductions to plate tectonic (e.g. "Earth Science: A Very Short Introduction"). I would suggest that anyone who was entirely new to the subject should read one of them instead.

Soft, Good Smelling, Cleans Great!
Size: 6 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Style: Facial Cleanser
This is easily my favorite facial cleanser I have used TO DATE. The first thing I always notice with hygiene products is the scent, and you can trust me when I say it's the best smelling scent you'll recieve on any Male product. Scent - The best way to describe it would be Pine, vanilla, with a refreshing kick. It is SO nice! Cleansing - This is, surprisingly, one of the best facial cleansing products I've ever used. It goes on gently, and does not have that "burning" sensation that some products leave on your face. It washes off softly and leaves my face feeling VERY smooth. The only small problem I've run into is a little bit of dryness left on my cheeks, but my skin is VERY sensitive so it's understandable. A very small amount of moisturizer fixes that easily! Conclusion - It cleans my face very gently, and leaves it feeling clean, smooth, and hydrated! The scent is fantastic, unique, but not too strong. I recommend this to ANYONE! And would be an amazing gift!!!
