Schefflera ‘Capella Bush’ is a vibrant, variegated foliage plant prized for its glossy green leaves splashed with creamy yellow tones. This eye-catching cultivar of the Dwarf Umbrella Tree features the classic umbrella-shaped leaf arrangement, creating a dense, layered canopy that instantly brightens indoor spaces. Its bold variegation adds contrast and interest, making it a popular choice for homes, offices, and contemporary interiors.
This hardy plant thrives in bright, indirect light, which helps maintain its vivid variegation. While it can tolerate medium light conditions, insufficient light may reduce the intensity of its creamy-yellow colouring. Water when the top layer of soil feels dry, ensuring the pot drains well to prevent waterlogging. A well-draining potting mix supports healthy root development, and average indoor humidity is generally sufficient for steady growth.
Schefflera ‘Capella Bush’ has a naturally compact, bushy growth habit that responds well to light pruning. Trimming encourages fuller growth and helps maintain a neat, rounded shape. With proper care, it can be grown as a tabletop feature or allowed to mature into a lush floor plant. Feeding during the growing season will promote vibrant foliage and consistent development.
