How Long Does it Take for a Dwarf Lemon Tree to Bear Fruit?

A taste of the tropics! Dwarf citrus trees bear fragrant white flowers followed by mouth-watering fruit! Dwarf Meyer Lemon plant produces medium-size, round orange-yellow fruit year round. The fruit is tangy, juicy and slightly sweet when fully ripe.

Do Dwarf Lemon Trees Need Full Sun?

In most areas (Zones 2-6), the dwarf tree is grown as a container or houseplant. During the summer months, it can be placed in a sunny spot outdoors where bees can pollinate the blossoms. If left indoors, the blossoms should be hand-pollinated. During cooler months, move the mini lemon tree indoors to a sunny location or under a grow light.

For those who live in warmer climates (Zones 9-10), you may plant your lemon tree in the ground or leave your container outside year-round. For more information and recommendations, use our  zone finder to ensure successful gardening.

How Big Do Dwarf Lemon Trees Get?

Most mini lemon trees grow 4-6 feet tall, making them a manageable size for growing in patio containers. In cooler climates, they're a favorite for growing on the sunny deck or patio during the warm months and moving indoors during the cooler months.

Can You Eat Dwarf Lemons?

Fruits from small lemon trees are excellent for flavoring foods and drinks and making lemonade. The Dwarf Meyer Lemon Tree fruits are tangy, juicy, and slightly sweet when ripe.

Size up
Size: 2 Big Kid, Color: Black/Pink
My daughter loves them. However they run a size small so we had to size up. She is anywhere from a 13-1 and we had to get a 2 in these. Overall great show and quality. She also just learned how to tie her shoe (7yo) and they are easy for her to tie. Style is great for running and sports too. Overall great value for the money.

These shoes make a great first impression, but beware of the stingy toe box.
Size: 13.5 Wide Big Kid, Color: Black/Orange
These shoes make a good first impression. They look sharp and appear to be well-made for running shoes. They also get bonus points for having actual laces instead of the common velco/fake laces combo. However, my son struggled to get them on at first due to limited room in the toe box. He has wide feet as well as high arches and the shoes were very snug across the top of his foot initially. Once he got them on, we determined that they were both wide enough (which is a rarity in itself) and the right size – just tight across the top. I actually had to remove the insoles to get them on his feet at first. After a few minutes I tried again with the insoles and he wore them around the house for a few hours, at which point the upper material had relaxed and/or the footbed had started to take on the shape of his foot, in effect creating more wiggle room. By then he didn't want to take them off, so they must have gotten more comfortable after that brief break-in period. If they were still too tight I'm sure he would have complained. I'll update the review if the shoes wear out prematurely or there is anything else noteworthy to report.

Sole separation
Size: 3 Big Kid, Color: Black/Orange, Size: 3 Big Kid, Color: Black/Orange
I really dont like to write reviews, let alone a negative one. Have had the shoe 1 month and the out sole on both shoes are peeling up. Normally we have had great success with saucony shoes for my boys. But this one we haven't had good luck. I have been super gluing the soles back down everything they peal up. Hopefully this is just a 1 off incident. Both side of one shoe and a large chunk of the heal on the other. You can see the glue marks and separation in pictures.
