🌱 Recommended Usage & Dosage by Crop (Per Acre)
| Crop | Target Weeds | Dosage per Acre (g) | Dilution in Water (L/acre) | Waiting Period (Days) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sugarcane | Cyperus rotundus L. | 32–36 | 150 L/acre | 294 |
| Maize | Cyperus rotundus L., Cyperus iria L. | 36 | 200 L/acre | 311 |
| Bottle Gourd | Cyperus rotundus L., Cyperus iria L. | 36 | 200 L/acre | 311 |
🕒 Time of Application
Apply Halosin when Cyperus rotundus and other target weeds are in the 2–4 leaf stage for best results.
⚙️ Mode of ActionHalosin inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS), a critical enzyme for the synthesis of essential branched-chain amino acids like valine, leucine, and isoleucine. The disruption of this pathway causes the weed to die due to an inability to produce proteins required for growth.
Halosin – The Complete Solution for Nutgrass (Cyperus rotundus) Management.Protect your crops, increase your yield, and reduce costs with one smart herbicide.
